New Hope CDC strives to bring the safety and stability of affordable housing to the vulnerable residents of Yolo County, including working families, seniors, veterans, farmworkers, former foster youth, the disabled and formerly homeless.
A focus on improving the overall quality of life in underserved communities is achieved through joining in like-minded development partnerships to build and sustain affordable housing.
Additionally, New Hope CDC supports the literacy and empowerment of youth in these communities through arts, sports, and educational enrichment activities. Annually New Hope CDC participates in the “Big Day of Giving” non-profit fundraising event to purchase educational enrichment supplies in the Housing Authority Public Housing Computer Learning Centers.
In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, New Hope CDC is dedicated to increasing programmatic options for seniors. Through expanding partnerships with the community of healthy aging agencies and resources, New Hope CDC will emphasize socialization and wellbeing opportunities for seniors residing in the Housing Authority Public Housing locations.
